Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly am I paying for?
One flat package price that includes your feature set and the core platform: contact and lead management, AI-powered messaging on every channel, lead timeline, and reporting. Usage costs (AI messages, SMS, email, calls) are billed separately for what you actually use.
What is included in the first invoice?
Your first month includes one-time carrier registration fees (A2P brand and campaign registration, phone number setup, about $63) plus your usage. After that, every month is simply your package price plus usage. No other fees.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
During the trial you get the full Momentum experience. When it ends, you continue on the package you choose and billing starts. You are notified before any charge, and all your data and settings are preserved.
What happens if I stock more vehicles than my package allows?
Nothing breaks. Vehicles over your limit are still saved, but they enter as Sold and stay out of your active inventory until you upgrade or free up space. You get a notification when it happens.
Can I switch packages later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade from your dashboard at any time. Upgrades unlock the new features immediately.
Can I add more locations?
Yes. Each location is billed separately at the same package rate. All locations share one dashboard with branch management.
Are there discounts available for annual or multi-year software commitments?
Discounts for annual or multi-year commitments are not available because all plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts required. Sky Scale provides its service on a flexible monthly basis, which allows you to switch between packages or cancel at any time without penalty. This approach stands in contrast to many other dealership software vendors that require annual or multi-year agreements. Our pricing is structured into three all-in packages based on your dealership's inventory size, ensuring you only pay for what you need. Every new dealership begins with a free trial to experience the full feature set before committing. For complete details on our packages and usage-based costs, please see the pricing page.
Will I be charged extra for customer support, and are there different tiers of support available?
No, you will not be charged extra for customer support, and there are no different tiers of support available. Sky Scale offers three all-in packages, and support is included with each subscription. This approach avoids separate fees or add-ons for core services, ensuring every dealership receives the same level of support regardless of their package. The full feature set is included in each of the three plans, which are structured by the number of vehicles in your inventory. For specific details on what each package includes, you can visit the pricing page.
What fees are associated with payment processing through the dealership software?
Payment processing for vehicle sales is not a feature of the software, so there are no associated payment processing fees. Instead, the software's costs are based on a monthly subscription package and usage-based billing for communications. Sky Scale offers three all-in packages determined by your dealership's inventory size, with separate charges for SMS and AI messages. While it does not handle the financial transaction itself, the platform includes a Sales Calculator to help structure deals by calculating out-the-door pricing with taxes and other fees for the customer. For complete details on subscription and usage costs, please consult the pricing page.
What are the typical one-time costs for implementation, data migration, and initial employee training?
Typical one-time costs for traditional dealership software can range from a few thousand dollars to over ten thousand for implementation, data migration, and initial employee training. Many legacy CRM and DMS providers charge separate onboarding or setup fees, require payment for migrating data from your old system, and bill for mandatory staff training sessions. Sky Scale is designed to eliminate these one-time costs. There are no setup or onboarding fees because the platform works alongside your existing CRM, which removes the need for complex and costly data migration projects. Inventory is imported automatically from your dealership's website, and the system is built for a fast setup that takes about one hour without needing developers or formal training. Every new dealership begins with a 14-day free trial to ensure the platform is a good fit before any payment is due. For full details on what is included, please see the pricing page.
Are there separate monthly fees for each third-party integration, like my CRM or an inventory pricing tool?
Yes, it is common for dealership software vendors to charge separate monthly fees for each third-party tool you integrate, which can make budgeting complex and unpredictable. Some providers charge for each connection, while others bundle integrations into more expensive packages or charge per-user fees that increase costs. Sky Scale is designed to avoid this by consolidating the capabilities of multiple tools into a single platform with one monthly price. It combines the functions of messaging platforms, AI responders, and market pricing guides, which often come from separate vendors with their own fees. Our pricing is based on three all-in packages that scale with your dealership's inventory size, and every package includes the full feature set with no a-la-carte add-ons. The only additional costs are for metered usage, such as for SMS messages or AI-powered calls, which are billed transparently. For complete details on what is included in each package, please see our pricing page.
If I need to add another module later, like for the service department, does that reset my entire contract term?
Adding functionality for another department, like service, does not reset your entire contract term because there are no long-term contracts to reset. Sky Scale is a month-to-month service where all features are included in a single all-in-one platform from the start. Instead of selling separate modules a-la-carte, every tool, including those for service reminders and rebooking, is part of the core product available to you on day one. You can activate and use any capability whenever you need it without affecting your billing terms or worrying about contract extensions. For more details on what is included in each package, please see our pricing page.
For a dealer group with multiple locations, is pricing just a multiple of the single-store cost, or are there specific enterprise or multi-rooftop pricing models available?
Pricing for a dealer group is based on a subscription for each dealership location, rather than a single, consolidated enterprise model. Sky Scale offers several all-in packages for each store, with tiers determined by the number of vehicles in that location's inventory. While each dealership has its own plan, the Branch Management feature allows a dealer group to oversee all its rooftops from a single dashboard, tracking performance and managing leads for the entire organization. There are no long-term contracts, and usage-based costs for SMS and AI messages are billed separately. For the most current package details, please see the pricing page.
What are the standard auto-renewal terms in a software contract, and how much notice is typically required to cancel before the next term begins?
Standard auto-renewal terms in a software contract typically require 30, 60, or 90 days' written notice to cancel before the next term begins. In the auto industry, multi-year contracts are common for core systems like a dealership management system (DMS) or a traditional CRM, often renewing for successive one-year or multi-year terms unless canceled within a specific window. Sky Scale is different because it does not use long-term contracts. All packages are month-to-month, giving dealerships the flexibility to adjust their plans as their needs change without being locked into a multi-year commitment. This approach avoids the risk of getting trapped in an unwanted agreement, which can happen with legacy software that has rigid cancellation windows. Instead of a long-term contract, every new dealership begins with a 14-day free trial to ensure the platform is the right fit. For more details on the specific packages, please see the pricing page.
How can I get a contractual guarantee or price cap to ensure my subscription rate won't increase dramatically upon renewal?
The most effective way to ensure your subscription rate will not increase dramatically upon renewal is to select a software provider that offers service on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contract. This structure gives your dealership the freedom to cancel if a price change is unacceptable, creating a natural cap on your financial risk. Some providers, like Sky Scale, are designed without long-term contracts, offering several all-in packages for different inventory sizes. This approach provides budget predictability, as costs are tied to clear package tiers plus separate usage-based fees for SMS and AI messages, rather than a fixed multi-year commitment with unpredictable renewal rates. For the most current package details, you should consult the company's pricing page.
Dealer Results
Dealerships run on Sky Scale. Here's what changed.
“Before Sky Scale, leads that came in after closing or during a busy shift would sit for hours, and some we lost completely. Now every call and every message gets an instant, professional response, appointments get booked automatically, and follow-ups happen on their own. Our response time went from 30 minutes down to 2 minutes, and we are booking 5 to 10 appointments a week from leads we used to miss. It has even closed a few car sales completely on its own just this month. And speed is not the whole story; it comes as one package with the tools a dealership actually uses every day. It pays for itself, and I would recommend it to any dealer who is tired of watching leads slip through the cracks.”
